- Do not heat up empty cookware for prolonged periods. After a few minutes of heating, add water, oil, or fats to cook. 

- A preheated pan will cook food properly and in some cases faster, but cooking food without the above liquids can cause that food to stick or burn.

NOTE: To ensure lasting use of these stainless steel knives knives, do not soak overnight in water - this is bad practice for any knife as it may cause discoloration, rust, or other defects. We recommend using warm water and regular dish soap, avoiding the use of any caustic detergents. Once washed, it's best practice to dry immediately - never place a wet knife into its storage block.
