All Encompassing Sound
Reproduce object-oriented sound with DTS:X and the smooth, curving or realistic, three-dimensional, overhead movements of Dolby Atmos. Or if you don’t have surrounds or height speakers, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS:X Virtual will create virtual height effects from traditional speaker layouts to simulate upfiring speakers. With or without upfiring speakers, E-ARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) simplifies connectivity and supports the latest high-bitrate audio formats.

100 Watts per Channel
With 100 Watts per channel (8 ohms, 20 Hz-20 kHz, THD 0.08 %, 2ch Driven FTC) the VSX-LX105 has enough power to support a 5.2.2-channel surround sound home theater setup or power a second zone at 4K120 resolution with the extra channels instead of overhead.

Discrete 2 Zone Switching
Great news for anyone sharing a home! You can use your channels as you please and setup two distinct entertainment zones. If you don’t have or don’t want to use the 2 channels for height speakers, you can redirect them to create a secondary zone in another room. The primary zone will run with 8K60 resolution and the secondary zone will produce 4K120 resolution with the secondary HDMI output.

HDMI 2.1 + 8K
The most recent update of the HDMI® spec, HDMI 2.1 supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates (including 8K60 and 4K120, as well as Dynamic HDR formats). 8K delivers a super-immersive viewing experience with 2x the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K, and 4 times as many pixels for a crystal clear picture. Combined with a 60Hz refresh rate the VSX-LX105 enables smooth and sharp viewing for high-speed action in gaming, sports and films.

That 4K/120Hz HDR pass-through enables ultra-fast motion -VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) eliminates lag, stutter, and frame-tearing for fluid gameplay. - ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) optimizes latency from source to screen - QFT (Quick Frame Transport) limits lag for a smoother experience. Auto Room Tuning
Pioneer’s Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System (MCACC) automatically adjusts sound according to your listening area and speakers by suppressing the standing waves that occur between walls or ceiling and the floor. Additionally, Auto Phase Control Plus makes real-time analysis of the phase difference and automatically compensates for the gap, resulting in strong bass and clear high-frequency sound.
