The 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) is an all-in-one zoom lens for Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. It is the first lens in the world for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a zoom ratio of 16.6x and 18-300mm focal length range (27-450mm fullframe equivalent). This all-in-one zoom lens covers up to 300mm telephoto and is well-balanced with aspherical and special lens elements to achieve high image quality over the entire range. Plus, like most of TAMRON's other lenses for mirrorless cameras, the filter size is unified at 67mm. This all-in-one zoom lens makes photography more fun because you can use it in an unlimited number of situations. It’s so versatile, it will inspire your creativity.

At the 18mm wide end, the lens attains an MOD of 0.15m (5.9 in) and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2. With an amazing working distance of 5mm (0.2 in), you can get as close as you want to your subject while capturing the background.

This lens incorporates TAMRON's proprietary VC mechanism to minimize the effect of camera-shake, which is likely to occur in the telephoto range. It displays its ability to perform when shooting handheld under low-light conditions. Using AI technologies, the lens will choose the compensation characteristic for videography at focal lengths of 70mm or less.
